GREAT blog concept! Can't wait to see what else you post...especially if you start offering some good alternatives! (Drawings OK)
I totally agree about this top. I saw a JCPenney's ad on tv the other night and showed it to my husband and said, "NEVER buy me anything like that!" (Figured he might take the girls out shopping soon for Mother's Day.)
I think the only person I know who wears muu muu's is my boyfriends mom... so I say NO too!
Im not sure exactly where you are shopping, but I have a few girlfriends who are plus size and they find really great clothes at Arden B and Express...especially for tops. They are very fashionable, stylish, and attractive.
Finally someone speaks up. Who makes these clothes. Very often the sleeves and shoulders are to large.
Do they really measure them on real people???
Very good Blog can't wait to read more.
Hi stitch_witch, I have lots of problems buying clothes too, esp when most clothes are really small and tight-fitting for and cut for Asian. I am a Chinese but I have pretty broad shoulders n considered big built for most Singaporean girls. There are hardly any bigger sized clothings here except Mark & Spencer. I tend to spend quite a bit thgh it looks like I have fewer pieces of clothings than others due to the limited choices and plain designs. I do daydream about making my own clothes at times to meet that need - bigger clothings with flattering cuts without losing stylish designs.^^
I lost a little bit of weight recently so it helps that little bit to get clothes from more stores. Now, I am hoping to slim down a bit more.
